Hi there! My name is Matthew “Tex” Reinemann. I work for YWAM (Youth With A Mission), an international and cross-cultural missionary organization, here in Mazatlan, Mexico! I’m 24 and seeking after God’s will in my life.

I grew up in Northern California and after graduating from UC Davis and then working in financial markets and banking for a year, I got really burned out. I felt like I had lost a lot of purpose and vision in my life, so God redirected me into a time of growth and service here in Mexico.

I primarily work with our Ship equipped ministry. There it is on the right. This 100file_000-1 ft long yacht will bring healthcare workers and education to isolated coastal towns on the western coast of Mexico. These places lack access to basic medicine, specialized care, and long-term development. We believe God is using our ship to bring hope and restore life to the people of Mexico that have been forgotten and cast aside.

Aside from working with Ships, I regularly help out in many other ministries at our YWAM base including soccer club, discipleship training, communications, and cooking meals. The rest of the staff and I so strongly believe in what we’re doing that we are all volunteer, meaning we are not paid for our work. Without our staff and the work we do, the ministries and outreaches wouldn’t be possible. If you are interested in supporting what we do at YWAM Mazatlan by supporting either myself or others, feel free to contact me via email.

As far as my loves, I am always won over by a hot cinnamon roll and a latte, sci-fi movies, adventurous foods, and star gazing.

I always love to chat and connect with people. I would love to hear from you! Send me a message and let’s build relationship!!
